Details: 
* WHAT...Heat index values in the mid-90s expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine
and central and southern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...These hot temperatures will continue into
Wednesday before a cold front brings not as warm conditions late
week. Overnight temperatures will provide relief, falling into the
mid to lower 60s.

Information: 
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services has issued an
Air Quality Alert for ozone until 10 PM EDT this evening.

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services is predicting
unhealthy air quality for sensitive individuals in Rockingham
County. Sensitive individuals include children and older adults;
anyone with lung disease such as asthma, emphysema, and bronchitis;
and people who are active outdoors. Even healthy individuals may
experience mild health effects and should consider limiting strenuous
or prolonged outdoor activities.
