Warm, mostly dry, and breezy conditions are expected today, but cold ocean and inland water temperatures relative to air temperatures could make lake/ocean recreation dangerous. Although onshore winds will keep much of western Maine cooler on Monday, the very warm temperatures will continue into midweek with some 90F readings possible in southern NH on Tuesday. Thunderstorms, some potentially strong, are possible in the afternoons on Tuesday and Wednesday as two frontal boundaries near and cross the region from the north. |
