Showers end this evening as the sun sets and we lose daytime heating. And that will remain the trend through Tuesday - the threat of an afternoon shower but generally dry. The next widespread chance of showers will come with a cold front Wednesday into Thursday. Ahead of it showers and thunderstorms are likely, but widespread beneficial rainfall is unlikely. Behind the front northwest winds will become gusty as they usher in some cooler air. This will especially be true overnight Friday and again Saturday. Expected lows in the 40s for most locations, with a few upper 30s not out of the question in the northern valleys.
