* AFFECTED AREA...In Vermont, Champlain Valley of Vermont, Northeast Kingdom and Central Vermont. * Timing...The lowest humidities and strongest winds will occur through 8 PM this evening. * WINDS...Southeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 33 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Up to 66. * Impacts...If any fires were to start the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and be difficult to contain. Information: A Red Flag Warning means that dangerous fire weather conditions are expected due to the combination of gusty winds, low relative humidities, and dry fuels. Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain. Remember, a debris burn ban is in effect for all of Vermont which means no open burning of debris is allowed. |
