Temperatures today will top out in the upper 70s and 80s. Winds will be out of the west gusting 25 to 35 mph. The strong winds, dry grasses and other fuels, and relative humidity falling to 15 to 30 percent will result in High to Very High Grassland Fire Danger. A Red Flag Warning is in effect this afternoon for portions of central South Dakota.
