Warm and breezy conditions today and Monday will bring elevated to critical fire weather conditions to much of northeast and north central Colorado. The critical conditions with gusty winds to around 30 mph can be expected from Park County and the southern Front Range Foothills eastward across the Palmer Divide and adjacent plains of east central Colorado. Locations near the Wyoming border will also see breezier conditions. We'll see cooler weather with a better chance of showers and mountain snow by Tuesday. Looking farther ahead, more dry and breezy weather can be expected Wednesday and Thursday. However, a storm system will bring a chance of snow to most areas by late Friday and Friday night.
