A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of South-Central Texas through this evening. Multiple rounds of showers and storms, with heavy rainfall, are forecast throughout the day into early evening. While most of the rainfall will be beneficial, there could be high rainfall rates with some of these rounds of storms leading to isolated to scattered instances of life-threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, urban areas, and other poor drainage areas. Stay weather aware today through Friday evening. Have ways set up to receive Flash Flood Warnings, including having Wireless Emergency Alerts enabled on your phone.
