Our next storm system will bring widespread showers and thunderstorms to the region tomorrow and Friday. The primary concerns will be with lightning and potential flooding from periods of heavy rain, particularly across Central Texas. While the severe threat is very low, an instance or two of large hail can't be ruled out south of US-84. By the time we get into the weekend, conditions will drastically improve with plenty of sun and slightly below average temperatures with highs in the low and mid 70s.
