We all now how dry it has been of late and even with rain in the forecast, the expected amounts will not make much of a dent in the overall dry conditions. This map shows how much precipitation is needed, per climate division, over the span of one month to end the drought. While we certainly want the rain, getting this much in a months time would lead to other problems!
