While most of the region will enjoy pleasant, warm weather this weekend, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected along the Continental Divide and in Northwest Montana, primarily in the afternoon hours on Saturday. This activity spreads southward on Sunday but remains fairly isolated in coverage. This is not expected to be a widespread or severe weather event. However, those heading into the mountains or out on the lakes for recreation should stay weather-aware. Keep an eye on the sky for building cumulus clouds and check the radar periodically. Remember: When thunder roars, head indoors (or get off the trails and water).
